Kingsland AS, the designer and manufacturer of Kingsland Equestrian apparel and horse gear are excited to announce the appointment of Marianne Kjærnli Fossum as new CEO. She will assume responsibilities on 6th of March 2017 and will succeed Carsten Mikkelsen, who after 7, 5 years in Kingsland, has returned to the fashion business.
Marianne Kjærnli Fossum has a solid background from retail, latest as CEO at Pocos Retail AS. She has 15 years of experience with international brand building working with well-known brands, such as The Body Shop, Accessorize and Monsoon, Icing, Aldo shoes & Accessories and Marks & Spencer.
Marianne was active in the horse sport in her younger years. She returned as a show jumper a few years ago and has 35 horses stabled at the family farm. She is 42 years old, married and has two children.
“This is really the job of my dreams, as it combines my experience from retail and brand building with my passion for horses and the equestrian sport. I am so happy to be part of this fantastic company, and look forward to taking the unique Kingsland brand even further,” says Marianne Kjærnli Fossum.
